Spencer Chinery, President/CFO Consultant

Providing financial leadership, clarity and efficiency for our clients.

Spencer was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee and lives there currently with his wife and their two children. He attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) receiving an undergraduate Business degree with concentrations in Finance and Economics and later his MBA in 1998 while working as a Financial Analyst for CBL & Associates, a real estate investment trust listed on the NYSE.  Spencer has worked in the field of finance and systems for over 20 years.  Most recently prior to joining Lighthouse Spencer served as the CFO for The Hutton Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee a real estate development, construction and property management company with projects across the US.  Prior to Hutton Spencer worked as CFO and in other financial capacities in retail, food service, accounting and technology companies including 5 years as the CFO for Greenlife Grocery a Chattanooga based natural and organic food retailer acquired by Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ) in 2010.  When not working with our clients Spencer spends his time with family and in the outdoors whenever possible.

Marissa Corbitt, CPA, Controller Consultant

Marissa joins Lighthouse CFO Group after practicing auditing, accounting and financial reporting across various industries and businesses in Chattanooga. Marissa has a passion for understanding different businesses and improving processes and procedures. Being inquisitive and detail-oriented, she works to understand what would make a business healthy and successful. Marissa began her career in public accounting at Decosimo, a regional public accounting firm based in Chattanooga. From there, she worked at both privately held and publically traded manufacturing entities. Marissa has experience in internal controls documentation, cash flow management, month-end reporting, and financial statement preparation.

Katie Haworth, Human Resources/Payroll Manager

Katie serves as Lighthouse CFO's Human Resource and Payroll Manager.  Previously, she worked as a clinic director in the health industry for eight years and gained valuable human resource management experience and healthcare knowledge. Katie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and traveling to new places. 

Jackson Howard, Accounting Analyst

Jackson was born and raised in Harrison, Tennessee and holds Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Jackson has been with Lighthouse full time since January 2025 after spending 2 years as an intern. He brings an analytical and detail oriented mindset to our clients in the real estate and food service industries. In his free time he enjoys hiking outdoors and playing golf with friends and family.

Carter Eaves, CPA, OPerations and Accounting Asset Mananger

A Chattanooga native, Carter brings a strong foundation in accounting and financial strategy to Lighthouse CFO Group. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. As a licensed CPA, he began his career at a regional accounting firm, Mauldin & Jenkins, where he specialized in audit services for banks, local governments, and employee benefit plans. Carter applies that foundation to his role at Lighthouse, where he helps navigate complex financial decisions and leads analysis of the firm’s real estate portfolio—from budgeting and operations to acquisitions and dispositions. Carter currently lives in Hixson with his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.

Ivania Frakes - Staff Accountant

Ivania graduated from Dalton State College with a bachelor’s in accounting in 2023 and is currently pursuing a master’s in accounting from Eastern Washington University. Ivania serves as a Staff Accountant and has been on the Lighthouse team since 2022. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, scrapbooking, and spending time with family.

Trinity Ezell, Senior Accountant

Trinity graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with her bachelor’s degree in finance.  Trinity has been with Lighthouse CFO Group full time since graduating in May 2022. Her role is primarily involved in healthcare accounting. Before joining full time, Trinity worked for Lighthouse as an intern her senior year of college. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. 

miranda quezada, Human Resources assistant

Miranda is a Human Resources Assistant at Lighthouse CFO Group and a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she is earning a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Prior to joining Lighthouse, she spent five years in the healthcare industry as an Assistant Clinic Director and Lead Clinic Manager, gaining extensive experience in human resources and operational management. Outside of work, Miranda enjoys traveling, embracing new adventures, and spending quality time with her family.

Joyce Ann Mattice, CPA, Accounting Manager

Joyce Ann is a Tax Manager with over 10 years of experience specializing in tax. At Lighthouse CFO Group, she oversees tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations. She has diversified experience with a variety of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, and other service-based businesses. Her drive to learn each day and genuine interest in businesses make her an invaluable asset to the Lighthouse team. She holds a CPA designation and received a Master’s degree in Accountancy from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Outside of work, Joyce Ann enjoys hiking, playing games with friends, and traveling and exploring new places.
